Pictured is Carol Savidge and Klassic Drifter, purchased as an endurance prospect by Carol from North Star Arabians. Carol and "Drifter" competed in endurance racing in '98 and '99, and will be hitting the trail again this year. We wish them many happy trail miles. |

| Spring greenery abounds, and songbirds fill the air with their melodies. Thus far, we have been blessed with 5 beautiful and healthy new foals: a bucksin 3/4 Arabian filly, a black 31/32 Arabian filly, an exquisite bay 1/2 Arabian filly, a very special straight Egyptian Al Khamsa colt, and a lovely grey egyptian-related colt. (Foal update.)Three of the mares foaled during the day, which was really nice! | We have been accepting two outside horses per month for training for clients who have purchased horses from us, or who have sent horses to us for training in the past. It has been especially enjoyable to work with horses and their owners on an individual basis. One of our mares will be leaving for her new home in Colorado, after being bred to our straight Egyptian Al Khamsa stallion, Ravenwood Gamal. | ||
| New Foals |
Breeding season is well under way, and all four of our stallions are being used. We planned our own foals to be done by the end of May, so as to give me a break from foal watch and to be able to pursue horsey interests off the ranch. Yes, the thrills, hopes and joys of Spring are upon us, and within us. Happy spring to all. | ||
