On August 27, 1997, Tom McNair and Thistlewood Farm lost another legend, 24 year old Ibn Morafic. He was found dead in his stall early in the morning without signs of suffering.
Recently, the great *Sakr died with his friend, Tom, by his side. We are deeply sorry for the losses that Tom McNair and Thistlewood have suffered. Although these legends cannot be replaced, they will live on through their offspring.
To quote Thistlewood: "The Legend Lives On in Spirit, Beauty and
Blood at Thistlewood Farm."
