Well, I can breathe a sigh of relief. The winter was mild and did not go out like a lion. Spring is here and it is beautiful outside with the grass growing, the birds
singing, and pastures filling up with foals and floppy tailed calves. I am also relieved because Raf's first foal arrived and she is absolutely beautiful in my biased
opinion. Nasima (Amaal x Bint Nahlah) foaled on March 26 and she is now the proud mother of Kyobi Nazli, a sweet talkative bay turning grey filly.
Since there aren't any foals due until next month, I have time to dote on Nazli for a few weeks. I have been outside to see her so often that Bob suggested that I bring Nasima
and Nazli into the house. He may be in for a surprise when he returns home from work tonight.
