A row of spectators watches a couple of bay horses [larger version 28K]
Sonny Stengle said that he and his wife, from Germany, were visiting Egypt in February when he took these photos in a
"small village 30 km north to Luxor, away from all main roads. A place which hardly has seen any tourists. They had some kind of horse show there, horses from all the area around. Hundreds of spectators and many kids. Of course kids had fun storming at us... finally the locals got us to some balcony...so we were able to shoot some more photos."
These photos speak elequently for themselves, all ©Sonny Stengle 2003.

Sonny labeled this one Egypt's future.
